To this computer I have connected an Epson scanner 2450 Photo. I have a Macintosh computer running with Mac OS X 10.6.8. When I click the ‘scan’ button in HP’s image manager, I am told it cannot find TWAIN Source Manager.Shlb Help! Is all the advice I’ve read wrong? Can really not come to my rescue? Can anyone advise? The printer prints, makes good photocopies but though it appears to go through the motions of scanning, no accessible image is produced. The printer/scanner is HP PSC 1510, and my OS is Mac OS 10.6.8. I was even given a direct link to the download, which included the string TWAIN_for_Mac_OS_X_. Download the TWAIN Source Manager.Shlb file, they say. I have found numerous links on support websites, including HP’s own, telling me to come to and download this file. The file with this name on my Mac is either not the right file, or not where the scanner wants it, or both. I have an HP scanner which won’t scan, telling me there is a problem accessing a shared library file called TWAIN Source Manager.Shlb.
